The international women’s day was celebrated on march 7 th Saturday at multi purpose hall of Sree Anjaneya College Nursing from 1 pm to 4pm. The programme started by a prayer song and welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Fipina Shaji, first semester BSc Nursing student. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Prof. Georly George, Principal, Sree Anjaneya College of Nursing by announcing the the women’s day theme 2025-“Accelerate Action” and special speech on women’s day was delivered by Dr. Prof. Rekha T, vice principal, Sree Anjaneya College of Nursing.The programme was well conducted by First semester BSc Nursing students under the coordination and guidance of Prof. Soumya PB, Head of the department, Medical Surgical Nursing and Mrs. Anjitha NP, Lecturer, Department of community health nursing.
Women’s day celebration was started by gifting a token of love to all the teaching and non teaching faculties of our college, followed by by presenting a memento and celebrating the success of Dr.Prof. Rekha T,vice principal in her great achievement of Phd in Nursing. Women’s day theme presentation by including all the success womens of India was done Sreelakshmi and Fidha, students of first semester BSc nursing. The day celebration was a colourful memory made by different cultural programmes conducted by the students of each semester classes. Various games such as ball passing and musical chair was also conducted by students and mixed participation of students and teachers made it’s as a fun. The programme was end up at 4 pm by delivering vote of thanks by Ms. Mehbin, first semester BSc Nursing student and National Anthem.
